DESCRIPTION
The very first building that housed the Industrial University of Illinois in 1868 (which became the U of I) was named the Elephant. All classes and housing were in this impressive building which was severely damaged in 1883 by Tornado-like winds. This was drawn on glass with a sepia pen.
